Challenge

A commercial vehicle manufacturer needed a dealer locator system covering their pan-India network — enabling customers to find the nearest authorised dealer by city, state, or vehicle category. The existing solution had critical bugs: city name inconsistencies in the database caused searches to return no results for valid cities, SQL filtering logic failed silently on multi-word city names, and the Google Maps integration was unreliable on mobile devices. The client had lost customer enquiries as a result.

Our Solution

We rebuilt the dealer search and filtering engine from the ground up — implementing data normalisation for city names, fixing the SQL query logic for multi-word city and state searches, and rebuilding the Google Maps integration with proper API key management, fallback handling, and mobile-optimised map rendering. A CRM enquiry integration was added to route every dealer contact form submission directly to the sales team's pipeline with automated WhatsApp and email confirmation to the customer.
